He began making these banjo-shaped cribbage boards of his own design over
a decade ago. They have proven to be popular at craft fairs and have been sold
by a few local merchants. Now you have the chance to buy one
without traveling to Northern Maine!
Locally milled spruce is planed, cut, routed, and drilled. The design is burned on,
and sometimes colored. Instead of tuning heads, the neck holds three light pegs
and three dark pegs. Brass eyelets brighten the pegs' journey around the board,
every fifth one is painted red. Hanging hardware is included to display the board
on the wall. You know just where to find it when you want to play. The boards are
approximately 30 inches long and 10 inches wide, and stand on wooden "button" feet.

natural wood grain, each board is unique. Boards are pictured before being
sprayed (with six coats of polyurethane) to avoid glare.
